About V2Ray Release Hub

Client downloads, core background, and editorial policy.

Our role

V2Ray Release Hub is an independent guide to using V2Ray. It brings together download links, setup steps, and configuration references for v2rayN, v2rayNG, and v2flyNG, organized by operating system to help readers choose a client and understand its settings. This site is not affiliated with the client development projects and does not provide proxy nodes, subscription services, or guarantees of connection availability.

Project V and the Core Families

Project V is an open-source ecosystem built around network proxy tools. The V2Fly community continues development of the V2Ray core, while Xray developed as a fork based on related code and expanded protocol and transport capabilities. The core handles connections; graphical clients manage configurations. v2rayNG uses Xray, while v2flyNG uses V2Fly. Protocol support depends on the specific core version.

Editorial Policy

Download links are maintained by checking client names, release channels, and compatibility with operating systems and architectures—not by guessing versions from filenames. Tutorials are based on hands-on testing of graphical interfaces and distinguish client settings from core fields. As menus change, verify steps against the version in use. See the downloads page to choose an installer, or consult the quick start and troubleshooting guide for help.

Scope and Responsibility

This site is for technical learning and configuration reference only; it does not guarantee third-party services or results. Back up existing settings before changing configurations, and avoid sharing public subscription URLs or access credentials. Users are responsible for confirming their device permissions, service terms, and local laws, and for their own use. See the disclaimer and terms of use for more details.
